Get to know Stephanie! 

I am a Virginia native, born in Ft. Belvoir, and I moved to Fredericksburg at 4 years old. I graduated from Chancellor High School (go Chargers!) and then moved to Nashville to pursue a degree in Music Business. After graduating, I returned to Fredericksburg, where I started my radio career as the receptionist at Thunder 104.5.

I was so nervous my first time going live on-air, I think I forgot to breathe, but thanks to a lot of support from my Thunder family and listeners, I overcame the nerves and moved from answering phones to being on-air full-time.

I’m an animal lover, and thanks to frequent visits to local shelters and rescues, I’ve brought home a wide variety of furry friends over the years. My family now includes three cats, three guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, and a very understanding husband.

My favorite movie is “Steel Magnolias,” my favorite TV show is “The Great British Baking Show,” and my favorite food is tofu (yes, really!). My love of animals inspired me to become a vegetarian at 12 years old, and although I definitely didn’t love tofu back then, I’ve grown to love it over the years 😊
