Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 27-2 Bull Run III

We are an Association of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. As a registered 501(c)(19) veterans’ charity, our mission is to support and protect those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to provide assistance and help to individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations and registered charities. We sponsor and participate in many veteran-related motorcycle (and other) charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various veteran causes.

Our annual fundraiser, Bull Run III, will be held on 12 September 2026. The significance of this event is the first major battle of the American Civil War was the Battle of Bull Run, the Second Battle of Bull Run occurred just a year later. As an homage to the warriors that came before us, Bull Run III represents “the mental Civil War,” the battle within. Our efforts in helping Veterans have been concentrated on fighting Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury. Currently, all proceeds from our annual Bull Run III event go to support Leashes of Valor, a local 501(c)(3) organization.

Located in Fredericksburg, VA, and founded by a combat-wounded veteran in 2017, Leashes of Valor provides highly trained service dogs, at no cost, to post-9/11 veterans to help with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI) or military sexual trauma (MST), an underlying trauma to PTSD.
