Come anyway! (There will be pets for adoption if you find you need one!) This is a celebration of the bond between animals and the people who love them — and there’s room for everyone. \nWe’re excited to welcome local animal rescues\, community groups\, and pet-centered organizations who help care for animals and the people who love them\, plus some wildlife organizations. \nYou’ll have a chance to meet some of the people working every day to protect animals\, help pets find homes\, promote responsible pet care\, and support the special bond between animals and their humans. \nHere is some of what you’ll see…\nThe SPCA of Fredericksburg\, Compassion Animal Rescue\, Squishy Face Crew Virginia\, and Salty Paws Brigade will be among those with pets to adopt. You can also see the Spotsylvania sheriff’s dept K9 dogs and their handlers as well as the Animal Control exotic animals. The Dogs from Blue Gray Therapy Dogs and the St. Francis Pet Ministry will be on hand for pets and cuddles. Also participating is Victoria Quick\, pet portrait artist. \nWe’ll be introducing more of our participating groups right here over the next couple of weeks! \nSo come say hello\, meet some amazing folks\, and maybe discover a new favorite organization.
