Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have decided to put their ranch-style beach home in Malibu, California on the market for a cool $7.5 million, according to Variety. The couple purchased the 4,236 square foot home in June of 2008 for $4.95 million. Variety reports that the four bedroom 3.5 bathroom house was extensively remodeled in 2007. This report comes several months after Trisha announced that she and Garth would be moving to Nashville to spend more time in the city. Garth owns several acres of land in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, which is just north of Nashville.

Eric Church released his latest album, The Outsiders, back in February, but he's not launching the world tour behind the album until September. That's given him plenty of time to rehearse and really get excited about playing these new songs live.  To round out the bill, Eric has invited one of his heroes, Dwight Yoakam, as well as a brand-new duo, to open his shows, Brothers Osborne.  Critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Brandy Clark will also open a few shows on Eric's tour, which kicks off September 11 in Louisiana.

Miranda Lambert and Crystal Light have partnered to create the United States' first-ever "playable poster" to give fans a chance to listen to her latest album, Platinum.  The new technology will be on display at stops on Miranda's Platinum tour. The Crystal Light poster uses conductive ink to sends a signal to a tiny processor that sends the music through a mega-watt speaker attached to the back of the poster.  Miranda's Platinum tour continues through October.

Justin Moore is giving fans a first look at his new baby daughter, Rebecca Klein, at People.com. The little one was born two weeks ago, and Justin's older daughters, four-year-old Ella Kole and two-and-a-half year old Kennedy Faye, have already fallen in love with the bundle of joy.  Things have been pretty low-key since Justin and his wife, Kate, brought Klein home.  Justin and his family live in his home state of Arkansas. Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley have been together for more than a decade with two boys and according to Brad, their happy marriage will stand the test of time. When asked about the secret to a long marriage, Brad says "I don’t know if there’s a secret. I think you have to have the same sort of priorities and outlook. You’re sharing a car. You’ve got to want to be going to the same place. You have to decide early on that failure’s not an option and that you’re going to evolve together. You’re going to change. We’ve been together now for a decade. You’re going to change. I’m so different than the total hillbilly she met."

When Garth Brooks' music does go digital soon, it's a good chance he will break Elvis Presley's record for albums sold. The USA Today speculates that he'll likely become the best-selling solo act in history almost immediately — even before he releases his first comeback single. Garth's digital music will be offered only through www.garthbrooks.com. He said at the recent Nashville press conference, "People are going to mistake (what I'm doing) for giving it away, but I'm not."

Kristian Bush made his solo debut at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday night. Bush stepped up to the microphone and took the opportunity to introduce his voice and new material to the live audience saying, "I feel so grateful, to the Opry for inviting me, to the audience who heard me use my voice, and to my brother for joining me in both writing this song and performing it on such a hallowed stage. It was an amazing experience, like a roller coaster I want to get back on." (Photo Credit:  www.cmt.com )

Brad Paisley has commented on the woman being asked to move away from the stage because she was breast feeding real close to the pit with a very young baby at a California show. Brad says, "I don't know what she was doing, but according to police, it had nothing to do with breastfeeding at all. Nothing! There's no way I would take a 6-month old, or however old the baby is, into the pit at one of my concerts. It seems to me that she did the absolute wrong thing. And then, from what I saw in the video, they looked like they were kind. It didn't look like they were mean. They just said, 'get the baby out of here.' I just think that people are crazy. They do some crazy things. And they make some bad decisions. And that was in every way a bad decision. And I wish she would just learn from this, as opposed to pretending like being a victim."

Joe Nichols had to go back on tour shortly after he and his wife, Heather, welcomed their baby girl, Georgia Blue, nine weeks ago.  Joe now wants Heather to just kick back, relax and say "Yeah," just like he sings about it in his latest hit, so he's taking her to the Bahamas in the next week for some R&R. Joe expects Heather to get some good sleep on the trip as well.  This trip marks Joe's first time back to the Bahamas since singing at Anna Nicole Smith's funeral there in 2007. Joe could definitely use some downtime after undergoing back surgery just four weeks ago. Joe went against his doctors to return to the road just four days after surgery to repair an injury in his lower back from long-distance running.

Tim McGraw swatting at a fan at his show last week in Atlanta is all over the Internet. While McGraw himself hasn't commented on the incident where a female fan grabbed onto his leg and he appeared to slap her away and then had her escorted off by security, his Nashville rep did saying in a statement, "At the end of the night during the encore, Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let go as he was moving through the crowd. He instinctively swatted to try and keep them from ripping his jeans -- which they succeeded at doing! -- and so he could get to more fans who were trying to slap hands with him before the end of the show."

The teenagers sure do love them some Luke Bryan as a second wave of nominations were announced last week for the upcoming Teen Choice Awards and Bryan received an additional four nods. Luke’s hot-selling "That’s My Kind of Night Tour" was nominated for Choice Summer Tour. Bryan also received a nomination as Choice Summer Music Star: Male and two nods in the Country Choice Song category for "Play It Again," and "This Is How We Roll" with Florida Georgia Line. The Teen Choice Awards air August 10 on FOX. On Saturday night on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, Opry member Brad Paisley and former Rising Star contestant Sarah Darling performed Paisley’s hit "Whiskey Lullaby." This was the fulfillment of the invitation he extended to Darling last week during the live broadcast of ABC’s new hit singing competition Rising Star after she was eliminated from the show by just a fraction of a percentage in the votes. Brad introduced Darling before the performance, saying “Welcome home – back to the place you belong, Nashville, Tennessee." Darling responded, "There’s no place like home."

Shania Twain was named Las Vegas Weekly’s "Best Resident Performer" for their "Best of Vegas 2014" list. Twain returned to Las Vegas last week to begin the July run of her award-winning show, "Shania: Still the One" at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The star’s return immediately followed two record-setting performances at this year’s Calgary Stampede, as she is the first artist to sell-out two back-to-back shows there. Shania's Vegas show debuted in December 2012 and is a concert celebration that takes guests on a spectacular journey through the various stages of Shania's life and career. The high-energy production is a compilation of Shania’s most celebrated hits and is designed to give audiences that intimate, only in Las Vegas concert experience.

Kip Moore is a passionate guy and this week he's been all over the news and Twitter fighting ticket scalpers who take his ticket prices and charge the fans double and triple for tickets to his shows. During one spat Moore had on Twitter he challenged one ticket scalper to meet him and hash it out in Florida. It's not clear if the scalper showed up, but Kip did call in to a radio show to defend his stance on ticket scalping. The debate went on for twenty minutes, with the show’s host saying Justin makes money either way so why should he care?  Justin saidthat's not the way I see things. I never set out to make music to make lots of money, and when those scalpers take their opportunity to go in that show man it burns me, it rubs me really wrong."

Tyler Farr says of his chart topper – a song he co-wrote – "Whiskey In My Water" after learning of its success on top of the chart this week, "It is truly humbling and I am very grateful. I couldn’t ask for a better management team and my record label staff at Columbia Records. And to the fans…Y’all are awesome! Thank you for making this happen, and especially to country radio for all of your continued support from the beginning. Any day I can wake up and play country music for a living is a good day to me. Thank you!"

A woman in California was asked to leave one of Brad Paisley's concert because she was breastfeeding her baby real close to the stage. The woman was at Paisley's concert in San Diego on Thursday night when an officer from the Chula Vista Police Department asked her to leave the area, saying the child could be crushed from a potential surge from the crowd or could be impacted from loud noise coming from speakers. After the woman posted a video on YouTube in protest, the police department wrote on its website, "The Chula Vista Police Department's involvement in the incident was due to the welfare and safety of the infant and not due to a mother's legal right to breastfeed in public."

Shania Twain returned to Canada this past Wednesday and Thursday night with two incredible sold-out shows during the Calgary Stampede. It has been ten years since the star has performed live in Canada. Each night 14,000 people packed the Scotiabank Saddledome to see Twain’s high-energy performance, which showcased many of her greatest hits. Following her Calgary performances, Shania returned to the Las Vegas stage for her residency show, Shania: Still The One at The Colosseum at Caesars over the weekend. Tyler Farr sits on the top of the country charts this week with his second consecutive number one single "Whiskey in My Water" and the song has been certified gold. "Whiskey in My Water" has also surpassed over 3 million VEVO views and counting. Farr was just featured on Billboard’s first ever Billboard Artist 100 Chart, landing at #93. The chart is the first-ever weekly ranking dedicated to measuring artist activity across our most influential charts, and blends album sales, track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of an artist's popularity across all the main means of music consumption. Tyler will be touring as part of Brantley Gilbert's just announced second leg of his "Let It Ride Tour."

Tomorrow, Garth Brooks enters the digital world as www.garthbrooks.com will offer his music catalogue for the first time digitally. Garth is the only artist whose music has never been for sale throuh digital media like iTunes. Garth addressed the digital music venture at last week's Nashville press conference, he said: "What’s coming – I’m gonna tell you right now – people are going to mistake for giving it away, but I’m not. There’s gonna be a window coming with this digital era, for anyone who’s waited for Garth Brooks to go digital – to get it all at a stupid price.
