CARRIE REVEALS SHE HAD A C-SECTION – CARRIE UNDERWOOD

Carrie Underwood made several appearances during CMA Music Festival last week, showing the world that she really hadn't gained any extra pounds after having her baby -- and there's a good reason for that. Carrie was the queen of her exercise routine before she was expecting and that strict mentality continued well into her pregnancy. Underwood tells E! News, "While I was pregnant, I did everything I could to try and make smart choices. And if I couldn't really like work out, work out, I'd go walk, and I just tried to stay active." But her workout routine came to a halt after Carrie welcomed her son Isaiah in February because, as she reveals, she had to have a C-section delivery. "I couldn't work out for a few weeks because I ended up having to have a cesarean—blah, blah, blah, too much information," Then after her body healed and she was given the all-clear, Carrie got right back on the horse.

From Frankie Ballard staying on beat to a nearly flawless rendition to Florida Georgia Line tag-teaming the tune, country's biggest stars all lined up to take a crack at Will Smith's endearing classic. Hunter Hayes took control of the situation by showing off his impressive beatboxing skills, while Luke Bryan blamed alcohol for stumbling on the lyrics. Watch the video here.

EXPECTING THE WORST WHEN EXPECTING – CARRIE UNDERWOOD

There's only so much Carrie Underwood could do to prepare for being a mom while she was pregnant; the rest of that bridge she had to cross when her little guy arrived in February. But, Carrie says being Isaiah's mom isn't as challenging as she thought it would be. Underwood tells People, "I think I honestly expected — it's gonna sound weird — but I expected the worst. I've never been around babies before, to be honest, but he's so laid-back!" And, Isaiah's easygoing demeanor fits perfectly with that of her mom and dad. Underwood also revealed something else about her baby boy; he's the sweetest when he first wakes up.

The exchange happened while the two were on a Wounded Warrior Project motorcycle ride through Southeast Texas and Louisiana over Memorial Day weekend. A video shot in front of a tour bus shows the veteran present Gilbert with the medal. Patterson thanked the singer for the raising awareness for soldiers suffering from PTSD and presented him with one of his Purple Heart medals. The two then shook hands and hugged. Gilbert was clearly moved by the soldier's gesture. Watch the video here.

SHELTON COVERS DYLAN TUNE FOR FILM

Blake Shelton will be heading to the big screen – or at least his golden voice will. Shelton's heartfelt cover of Bob Dylan's song "Forever Young," which appeared on the icon's 1974 album Planet Waves, will appear in the upcoming film Max. The film follows a military dog named Max who returns to the U.S. after helping Marines in Afghanistan. Max is traumatized by his handler's death in Afghanistan, and is soon adopted by the fallen Marine's family back home. Max and the family then help each other heal from their shared loss. The new film will be released in theaters on June 26. This isn't the first time Shelton has done a song for a film. In 2011, Blake covered the song "Footloose" for the soundtrack to that year's version of the film Footloose.
