The Tennessean reports that Garth Brooks is suing his former employee, Lisa Sanderson, for $226,000. According to reports, Garth says Sanderson owes him $226,000 for repayment of a loan that he made to her while she was the CEO of Red Strokes Inc., which is Brooks' movie and television production company. Sanderson claims that Brooks gave her the money as a gift to help her pay the legal fees she amassed after going through a child custody battle over her son Benjamin several years ago. Lisa also claims that she is entitled to a production fee and a severance or retirement payment from Red Strokes Inc. from her time with the company. Red Strokes denies the she is entitled to any such payment. The lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial this week in the U.S. District Court in Nashville.

Over the weekend, Jake Owen took part in the AT&T Pebble Beach National PRO-AM Celebrity Challenge in Monterey, California. During the golf tournament, Owen was paired with professional golfer Jordan Spieth, who is ranked number 13 in the world. But hitting the links wasn't all that was on Jake's bill over the busy weekend; he was also scheduled to headline the San Antonio Rodeo on Friday night. After his golf round on Friday, Owen boarded plane and flew to San Antonio, where he performed for a crowd of 16,000 fans at the annual rodeo.

Justin Moore was in Huntington, West Virginia on Saturday night to perform another sold-out show on his headlining "Off The Beaten Path Tour." During the show, Justin surprised fans by inviting David Lee Murphy onstage with him to perform a rendition of Murphy's 1995 chart-topper "Dust On The Bottle." About halfway through Murphy's performance of the classic tune, special guest Randy Houser joined them onstage to sing the song. Moore's headlining tour will continue this weekend with shows in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

Willie Nelson and Family will team up with Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas for a co-headlining tour throughout the spring and summer of 2014. The 35 city US tour will kick off May 1 in Murray, Kentucky and will wrap up on July 18 in Toledo, Ohio. The upcoming tour will mark the first time these two acts have shared the stage together. Joining them for separate portions of the tour will be Kacey Musgraves, songwriter Jason Isbell and the folk trio The Devil Makes Three. (Photo credit: www.concertwire.com)
