From topping the chart with several hit singles to selling out stadium dates on his "Night Train Tour," Jason Aldean had a tremendously successful 2013. But during that year, Aldean also went through personal strife, filing for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Jessica. In 2014, Jason will continue his push and plans to release his sixth studio album later this year. And, looking ahead to that new album, he admits that his personal struggles from last year might show up in the music he puts out this year. While Jason isn't quite sure if his fans will be looking for his personal struggles to be reflected in this new album, one thing's for sure, he'll just continue to make the best record that he can.
Blake Shelton has announced that he will be hitting the road this year on his "Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014." The tour will kick off in June and will travel to more than 20 cities across the country. On the tour, Blake will be joined by special guests The Band Perry, Neal McCoy, and Dan + Shay. Last year, the "Ten Times Crazier 2013 Tour" sold out arenas across the country and Blake is thrilled to get back out there and do it again. While Blake says he is definitely enjoying the national attention his spot on NBC's The Voice has given him, getting on the road and playing in front of his fans is at the core of who he is.
After recently kicking off their 2014 "Take Me Downtown Tour" with sold out arena shows, Lady Antebellum have now announced that they will extend their North American trek. The now nearly 80-city tour will kick off its summer leg on March 22 in Phoenix, Arizona and will continue through the end of August. Special guests Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves are currently out with the group and will also appear on the first newly announced summer dates. Billy Currington, David Nail andJoe Nichols are also slated to join Lady A for shows on the remaining new tour dates.
Sara Evans has revealed the cover art and track listing for her upcoming album titled Slow Me Down. The 11-track album is set to be released on March 11 and features a duet with Vince Gill. In a video posted online, Sara gives a behind the scenes look at the making of the new album. Evans says in the clip that it’s the best record she’s ever made and she hopes the fans agree. Slow Me Down is Sara's seventh studio album and is her first new music since the 2011 release Stronger. The record's lead single and title-track was released in September of last year and was chosen by Billboard as one of the "10 Best Country Singles of 2013." Photo courtesy of Paul Freundlich Associate
