Garth Brooks has won the $226,000 lawsuit that he filed against his former employee Lisa Sanderson. The trial for the lawsuit got underway last week in the U.S. District Court in Nashville and lasted for three days.  The lawsuit stated that Sanderson owes Garth the $226,000 for repayment of a loan that he made to her while she was the CEO of his movie and television production company, Red Strokes Inc. Sanderson claimed that Garth gave her the money as a gift to help her pay the legal fees from a child custody case.  The jury ruled that Lisa owed Garth for the loan, as well as legal fees, collection costs and interest for the past six years. They also denied Sanderson's claim for severance or retirement payment from Red Strokes Inc. because there was no legal documentation that proved the company owed her any compensation.
BILLY RAY CYRUS says he was on the fence about recording "Achy Breaky Two" with rapper BUCK 22.  What pushed him over was when he got sage advice from a critical thinking, well-respected peer. Just kidding, it was his daughter.  He says, quote, "MILEY said to me, 'If the world says go left, go right.'  And I looked at her and I said, 'You know what?  I'm going to take your advice on that.' Gary Allan will perform a benefit concert for 3-year-old Addie Roberts, after the benefit originally planned for her turned out to be a scam. A friend of the Roberts family, Kyle Nunn, is facing theft charges for stealing thousands of dollars from the family and the venue who agreed to host a concert that was never actually booked. Nunn allegedly pretended to set up a benefit concert for the young girl battling Leukemia and accepted $3,000 dollars from the Roberts family and $6,000 from the local venue Baxters 942. Once Gary heard about the story, he teamed up with a local radio station to hold a real benefit concert. All proceeds from the show will benefit the non-profit organization "Addie's Army", which was set up to help pay Addie's medical expenses. The benefit show will happen on March 25 at Baxter's 942 in Louisville.
