It's a New Year, let's start it right!

We hope you had a great holiday, we're starting 2014 off with a lot of great new things here on More in the Morning.  You've been introduced to Christal Blue, the newest addition to the show, but you may be asking yourself who is this girl?  Where did she come from?  Christal is a 13 year radio veteran, she's had a fun-filled career so far, getting her start on the air in the frozen tundra of North Dakota.  After fifteen sub-zero winters, and nine years on the radio (seven doing mornings) she packed up and moved to the warmer climate of Virginia.  Let's face it, the girl needed a change of scenery.
Christal has been enjoying the mild temperatures of Fredericksburg since 2009, and in 2010 she decided she was just bored enough to head back out and find a microphone to talk into.  She found it, and for three years she's been filling the local airwaves with her not-so-southern charm.

She's a mother of two teenagers, Eddie's 18 and Emily's 15, and her significant other Matthew is a local IT Executive.  They live in South Stafford with their 3 year old cat, Lucy.  Christal doesn't have much free time, but when she does she likes to spend it wandering the shops of Historic Downtown and is always trying to discover somewhere new to eat.  She's a bit of a foodie, with a love for everything fresh and local.  Just wait, she'll tell you all about it.

Joining the More in the Morning Show is a dream come true for Christal, I mean who wouldn't want to sit across the studio from the legendary Denny More?  So make sure to tune in every morning for MORE of everything!  More winning, more fun, and above all MORE great country music!

Today's More's Mystery

December 16, 2014......Looking for a city........

1.  It's the capitol of it's state.

2.  This might surprise you.  At one point, it was the largest lumber market in the United States.

3.  Perhaps that's why the Iroquois referred to it as "the place through the pine woods".

Answer:  Albany, New York

By 1865, there were almost 4,000 saw mills in the Albany area and the Albany Lumber District was the largest market in the nation.
