Billboard has published their annual Money Makers ranking of the top earning musicians of 2013, and Taylor Swift comes in at number one. Taylor leads the pack, earning more than $39.6 million dollars in 2013. Billboard credits Taylor's physical and digital album sales as well as income from widely successful "Red Tour" and merchandising for her earnings last year. Coming in at number 2 on the annual ranking is Swift's fellow country star Kenny Chesney who pulled in nearly $33 million in earnings last year. Luke Bryan also had a top 10 finish on the list, taking the number 8 spot with more than $22 million in earnings.

Miranda Lambert recently revealed that her forthcoming fifth studio album, Platinum, will be released on June 3, and now we discover that the new record will likely feature a duet with Carrie Underwood. In a video posted on Country Weekly's website, Miranda said that she and Underwood are two girls from Texas and Oklahoma who are living their dream right now. She also admits that she wouldn't mind if Carrie showed off her fiery side when comes time for video treatment of the song. The duet song between Lambert and Underwood is reportedly titled "Something Bad." (Photo credit: www.tasteofcountry.com)

Eli Young Band will join Jake Owen on his "Days of Gold Tour" this spring, and while they're excited to get out on the road with Jake, they admit that some of the on tour activities will be excluded from their game plan. Last year, Owen injured his finger in a go-kart race with NASCAR drivers Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick, and the boys from EYB are just trying to stay on the safe side. The band says Jake’s a little accident prone, so they’ll be staying away from the go-kart races.

Jerrod Niemann has released the first installment of a five-part mini-movie that features him as the hero of the High Noon Saloon. The video can be viewed on JourneyToHighNoon.com and is part of the fun leading up to the release of Jerrod's new album, High Noon, on March 25. Niemann narrates the video, which starts off with some bikers pulling up to the saloon on their motorcycles. Jerrod then pulls up to the saloon on his steed, a donkey named number 9 (a clear reference to the track titled "Donkey" off his new album). Niemann then enters the saloon and notices that it's his kind of place, and his adventure begins. Following the premiere of the first video, the remaining installments of the mini-movie will be released on March 13, 18, 20, and 24.
