Dierks Bentley is taking fans on a wild ride in the new music video for "Drunk On A Plane." In collaboration with Will Ferrel and Adam McKay's "Funny or Die," the comedy website debuted the mile-high video yesterday morning making it the first time a country music video has appeared on the popular site. Dierks says, "We added some of this footage to the screens for tour, and I have a hard time not turning my back to the crowd to watch it myself…so many hilarious moments.” (Photo Credit: www.funnyordie.com )

The 2014 CMT Music Awards has announced its first list of performers for the show on June 4 and it's an impressive one as Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert are all confirmed to perform at this year’s live show. Promising to feature more performances this year than ever before, the 2014 CMT Music Awards will broadcast from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 4 at 8:00 PM ET. Additional performers as well as presenters and host to be announced soon.

Taylor Swift appears in the upcoming movie The Giver opposite such big names as Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep and Katie Holmes.  But it turns out that one of the reasons she got the role isn't her acting skills, but her musical skills -- specifically, her ability to play the piano.  The producer of The Giver, Nikki Silver, explained that the character Taylor plays, Rosemary, was originally written as someone who played the piano.  They auditioned several other actresses for the part, but when the producers attended one of Taylor's concerts last year, they saw her playing the piano and realized that she might fit the bill.  The Giver is set in a dystopian future where all the major problems of the world have been solved, but people unknowingly have been stripped of any real emotion. It'll be in theaters August 15.

The Band Perry's new video for "Chainsaw" premieres on CMT and CMT.com Today. The clip features the Perry siblings yelling "timber" as they cut down the trees where their heartbroken clients have carved their initials with their exes.  "Chainsaw" was filmed in Oregon and also includes dynamic live footage from The Band Perry. It's the latest single from their album Pioneer.

Today's More's Mystery

September 14, 2014...........Looking for a singer/actor........

1.  Before this multiple Grammy Award-winner became a singer/actor, he was a radio dee jay.

2.  He is still another example of a pretentious singer who goes by only one name.

3.  We have to assume he is not a big fan of Fox News..............Bill O'Reilly in particular.

Answer:  Ludacris

In August, 2002, political pundit Bill O'Reilly called for all Americans to boycott Pepsi products.  Ludacris was a spokesperson for Pepsi.  O'Reilly said Ludacris' lyrics glamorized a "life of guns, violence, drugs and disrespect of women".  The next day, O'Reilly reported that Pepsi had fired Ludacris.
