With all four of her studio albums earning platinum certifications, Miranda Lambert has become very well acquainted with this precious metal. Now, Miranda has named her fifth studio album Platinum, and she says this metallic word actually has more significance to her than just selling one million records. The new album is set to be released on June 3, and Lambert says this album's title actually represents a way of life. Miranda shares, "Platinum is my hair color, and my wedding ring, and the color of my Airstream and the name of one of my favorite beers. It's about a lifestyle” Platinum's lead single "Automatic" was released last month and currently sits in the Top 20. (Photo Credit: www.tasteofcountry.com)

Country Music Hall of Fame member Mel Tillis is recovering in Nashville following heart surgery. Mel's daughter Pam Tillis released a statement regarding the health of her father following the operation. Pam said, "Over the weekend, Daddy required a routine heart procedure. He's doing fantastic and is expected to make a full recovery. In typical Mel Tillis fashion, he's already cutting up and cracking jokes with the nurses. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated." Fans can visit Mel's official website for updates on his recovery and upcoming tour dates.

Lady Antebellum's single "Compass" sits at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts this week, giving the trio their eighth career number one song. Lady A will take another short detour from their "Take Me Downtown Tour" with a stop in Washington, D.C. on April 2 where they will be honored at this year's Grammys on the Hill Awards. During the ceremony, the trio will receive the Recording Artists' Coalition Award for their artistry and inventiveness in the country arena as well as their philanthropic efforts.

Apparently, Johnny Depp isn't just talented actor; he's also a skilled bass player. And he joined Willie Nelson onstage during his set at Rodeo Austin over the weekend to play bass guitar. A local TV station’s web producer posted the news on Facebook, revealing that Nelson's son, Lukas, was also there. The post read, "Lukas Nelson was there, as was Johnny Depp. Johnny was incognito and introduced as "John." They were all great!" During the performance, the incognito actor wore a fedora and a vest as they played one of Willie's signature tunes "On The Road Again." Check out the video here:

Today's More's Mystery

September 14, 2014...........Looking for a singer/actor........

1.  Before this multiple Grammy Award-winner became a singer/actor, he was a radio dee jay.

2.  He is still another example of a pretentious singer who goes by only one name.

3.  We have to assume he is not a big fan of Fox News..............Bill O'Reilly in particular.

Answer:  Ludacris

In August, 2002, political pundit Bill O'Reilly called for all Americans to boycott Pepsi products.  Ludacris was a spokesperson for Pepsi.  O'Reilly said Ludacris' lyrics glamorized a "life of guns, violence, drugs and disrespect of women".  The next day, O'Reilly reported that Pepsi had fired Ludacris.
