Garth Brooks' fans have been waiting for an announcement that would happen on 7/7, which was yesterday, but to their disappointment it looks like they will be waiting until Thursday, when Brooks says he will hold a streaming press conference to let it all out of the bag. Speculation is still that he's announcing dates for a World Tour sometime this year. The press conference will play out at 12 PM ET at www.garthbrooks.com.

Meanwhile, Garth released a statement over the weekend about the two canceled Dublin, Ireland concerts saying, "I have faith that [the] Dublin City Council will make the best decision for the people of Ireland. For us, it is five shows or none at all. To choose which shows to do and which shows not to do, would be like asking to choose one child over another." City chiefs held an emergency meeting and even attempted to rebook the two canceled shows at another location – a move promoters say is logistically impossible since staging and lights were designed for the dimensions at Croke Park.

Blake Shelton often tells his story in tweets when he's blasting the tabloids for all the fiction they tell about he and his wife Miranda Lambert and when things are good, Blake also shares via Twitter. Such was the case yesterday when Shelton tweeted out, "Finishing up my last album in the next couple weeks." Not sure what he means by "last" but I'm sure he's only getting started when it comes to rolling out new music to fans. No word on when the new project is set for release.

Jake Owen brought the ultimate beach party to a new level this week with his gold certified "Beachin'" landing at the number one spot on both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay Charts. The song marks Jake’s fifth number one single at Country radio and fastest selling hit to date. "Beachin'" is from Owen's latest album Days Of Gold. Jake recently scored his first Teen Choice Awards nomination for Choice Male Country Artist. Fans ages 13-19 can vote once a day via www.teenchoiceawards.com with results airing August 10 at 8P ET on FOX. (Photo Credit: www.tasteofcountry.com )
