Shania Twain's "Rock This Country Tour" might not wrap up in late October as was originally planned. In a recent interview with the Las Vegas Sun, Shania talked about extending the tour and revealed that she wants to take this trek global. While not official yet, Twain says the tour extension wouldn't come until after she finishes recording her new album this fall. As for her first studio project since 2002's Up, Twain says she already has six tracks completed, and is in the process of narrowing down six or eight additional songs to finish recording. But, a European tour leg isn't all Twain has her sights set on in the near future; she'd also like to do shows in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, as well as perform an encore run of her residency in Las Vegas that lasted for two years at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Cassie recently sat down with ABC's Good Morning America to reveal the baby's sex and also talked about her struggle to get pregnant. Cassie announced her pregnancy in early August when she posted a candid entry on her Womanista blog. In the post, Cassie talked about how they saw a fertility doctor in Nashville last November, who answered a lot of their questions and did a lot of tests. The doctor soon informed the couple that they only had a 1% chance of conceiving a child naturally without in vitro fertilization (IVF), and Cassie couldn't believe it. The couple had planned to start IVF, but then in June she had a positive pregnancy test.

LUKE MEETS HIS CUTEST FAN – LUKE BRYAN
Luke Bryan has finally met Ava, one of his youngest and arguably cutest fans. Back in April, Ava's mother, Adrian Finley, posted a video on Twitter of the then three-year-old girl sitting in the bathtub trying to tell her dad that she loves Luke Bryan. But, as the video shows, Ava's dad messes with his daughter by giving her fake guesses as to what she was saying. Ava repeats Luke's name over and over, but her dad has a little fun with her by guessing things like "lil' bunny" and "look funny." Finally, Ava's dad gives in and makes the correct guess, leading to the most adorable reaction from the little girl. She says with a cute smile, "Yeah, I love him." Well, Bryan has now finally caught up with Ava at one of his concerts and has posted a picture of the two together on his Facebook page. Luke says in the caption, "Finally got to meet the famous Ava. She was even cuter in person. Y'all remember her?"
IS BRETT DATING A VS MODEL? - BRETT ELDREDGE
Brett Eldrege has been spending a lot of time with Victoria's Secret model Rachel Hilbert recently, leading some to believe that the two are in a relationship. Hilbert is the blonde-haired beauty who portrayed Brett’s love interest in the music video for his current single "Lose My Mind," but the pictures posted on the model’s Instagram page might suggest that the two are more than just video co-stars. The most recent picture of the two of them was posted a few days ago and shows Eldredge performing onstage while holding Hilbert’s hand as she stands in the front row. One of Rachel’s other Instagram pictures shows the two holding baby goats at what looks like some kind of fair. Hilbert was first spotted backstage at Brett’s shows a couple of months ago.

Well, here's some good news: Little Big Town's Jimi Westbrook is off vocal rest and is talking again! Westbrook posted a video of him sharing the happy news on the band's Facebook, but he didn't exactly sound like the Jimi we remember. In the video, Westbrook spoke in a fake high-pitched voice. Then in his real voice, Jimi admitted that he was only kidding and went on to say, "Everything's good. I'm talking, which is a blessing — well, except to Karen.” He then concluded the video by saying, "Love everybody. All is well." In June, LBT cancelled or rescheduled several shows following Westbrook's vocal surgery and subsequent vocal rest. The band is scheduled to return to the road on August 22 at the Eastbound Hoedown Music Festival in Avondale, Canada.

Keith also serves as the first CMA Foundation Music Education Matters initiative Ambassador. Urban invited the middle and elementary school students to the taping where they had 'front row seats' for his five-song set.

Jennifer Nettles has joined the cast of Dolly Parton's upcoming made-for-television movie A Coat of Many Colors, NBC has announced. Longmire's Gerald McRaney and NYPD Blue's Ricky Schroder have also joined the cast of the film, which will be based on the inspiring true story of Parton's upbringing in East Tennessee. Nettles will portray Dolly's mother in the film, while Schroder will play the singer's father and McRaney will play her grandfather. The film is set in the Tennessee Great Smoky Mountains in 1955 and is based on the incidents in Parton and her family's life around the time she was nine years old. Plans for a television movie series of Parton's songs began earlier this year, with Coat of Many Colors set to air in December of 2015.
CHRIS RETURNS TO THE STUDIO – CHRIS JANSON
During a busy summer making stops on Toby Keith's "Good Times & Pick Up Lines Tour," Chris Janson recently found some time to make a pit stop in Nashville to record his debut album on Warner Bros. Records. Even though it was just for a few days, the time Janson spent in the studio was beyond productive and the album is expected later this fall. Chris says of the new project, "I can't tell you how happy I am to have this music coming out. I've been writing nonstop for 10 years so material was not a problem. My A&R rep said we have two albums of material. I have songs about boats, love, kids, back in my drinkin' days and Jesus. It will definitely be a piece of Chris Janson." While in Music City, Janson will also make a stop at the Grand Ole Opry to perform tonight (8/12). Chris' next stop on Keith's tour will be on August 14 in Winthrop, Massachusetts.
