George Strait's full house final concert on his "Cowboy Rides Away Tour" Saturday at the AT&T stadium in Dallas, Texas broke a record. With 104,793 in attendance and the top names in country music joining him for the final ride of the tour, Strait took fans on a three-hour journey of memories by way of 40 songs from throughout his storied career, including 20 of his massive 60 number one hits. Special guests for the show included Alan Jackson, Eric Church, Vince Gill, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Sheryl Crow, among others.

Chris Young's 2014 CMA Fest didn't really happen as on Thursday night last week he accidentally cut his left hand with a kitchen knife while at home. Young underwent surgery in Nashville Friday to repair damaged tendons. As a result of the injury and surgery, the 28-year old was unable to take the stage as planned at LP Field Saturday to play for tens of thousands of fans at CMA Music Festival in Nashville. Young, who was released from the hospital Saturday morning, is expected to fully heal and will return to playing guitar following his recovery and rehabilitation. (Photo Credit: )

Tongues started wagging in Nashville when on Wednesday night on the red carpet for the 2014 CMT Music Awards; Jason Aldean arrived with his girlfriend Brittany Kerr on his arm. The two have been linked since 2012, when photos of the two kissing hit the Internet. However, at the time, Aldean was married to his high school sweetheart, Jessica. At the time he said, "I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar." The couple later divorced.

The Band Perry's Kimberly Perry has been engaged for a while now to Texas Rangers baseball player J.P. Arencibia. With both of their busy schedules this summer, Kimberly admits she's not sure when the nuptials will take place although she suspects it will be during a busy time.
