Miranda Lambert has officially reacted to her four Grammy nominations on Friday (12/5). In a press release, Lambert said "I don't even have words to describe the feeling when I realized I had 4 Grammy nominations. Getting recognized by the music industry as a whole is so humbling and much appreciated by not only me, but the amazing team of people that make my world turn. Congrats to all my fellow musicians and artists who are nominated. See y'all at the Grammys!!!" The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air live from Los Angeles, February 8th on CBS at 8PM ET/PT.

No more than eight weeks after debuting at number one on Billboard's Top 200 chart with over 280,000 copies, Jason Aldean continues to conquer unchartered territory as Old Boots, New Dirt becomes the only country album released this year to be certified PLATINUM, for sales of over one million units. Aldean is one of only three artists in all genres to release an album and see it earn PLATINUM certification in 2014. Jason says, "It's like Christmas came early!"

Florida Georgia Line are passionate about giving back and every year Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard find a new way to make someone's Christmas a little brighter. This year, they are partnering with their home church, Cross Point Church, in their Dollar Club initiative. The duo is encouraging their FGL family and amazing fans to consider giving one dollar to the Dollar Club, which partners with various organizations to help those in Nashville who are in need. Founded in January 2014, Cross Point Church's the Dollar Club gives 100% of monies received directly to people in need.

MoonPie, an American favorite since 1917, along with country music artist Craig Morgan, is shipping over 35,000 MoonPies to USO centers across the country this week as a "thank you treat" for U.S. troops who are heading home for the holidays. MoonPie enlisted the country music star and Army veteran to assist with a six-month social media campaign that invited MoonPie and Morgan fans to donate a free MoonPie to the troops. The USO, with their long history of supporting American troops, was the natural partner for the campaign.

The 2015 Grammy Awards nominees were announced on Friday. Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and Lee Ann Womack all received nods for Best Country Album, with Eric and Miranda also earning Best Country Song nominations. Newcomer Brandy Clark also earned a nomination in the Best Country Album category, as well as being nominated for Best New Artist. Multiple Grammy-winner Glen Campbell returned to the nominee list with a nod in the Best Country Song category for the song "I'm Not Gonna Miss You, which appears on the I'll Be Me soundtrack. The list of presenters at the inaugural American Country Countdown Awards have been announced, with stars from the music, sports and entertainment spectrums all taking part in the ceremony. Presenters from the country music realm include Sara Evans, Hunter Hayes, Maddie & Tae, Scotty McCreery, Kip Moore, Thomas Rhett, Chase Rice, Cole Swindelland Chris Young. The show will be hosted by Florida Georgia Line and will be broadcast live from Nashville's Music City Center on Monday, December 15 at 8:00 PM ET on FOX. There will be performances by Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.



Garth Brookshas inspired so many young artists to make the move to Nashville, but that influence reaches far beyond the realm of country music – some of pop's biggest stars idolize Garth as well. Tim McGraw can always be seen wearing his trusty black cowboy hat and now the singer is finally getting some recognition for it. McGraw has been honored as one of the inductees for the 2015 Headwear Hall of Fame. Every year, The Headwear Association recognizes six individuals who are renowned for wearing hats. This is THA's seventh year of the Headwear Hall of Fame, with the number of hat-wearing members totaling 42. Some of the past inductees into the Hall of Fame include Elton John, Queen Elizabeth II, Nicole Kidman, Kid Rock and Jackie Kennedy.

As the year winds down, Jason Aldean finds himself off the road and able to spend more time with his fiancée Brittany Kerr. But will being home for the holidays give Aldean more time to plan his upcoming trip down the aisle with Kerr? People magazine recently caught up with Jason on the red carpet for the 2014 CMT Artists of the Year, and asked the singer about preparing for the couple's wedding. Aldean shared, "It's kind of hard when you're touring as much as we do. But with the holidays coming up, we'll have some time off. I can't tell you when, but it will definitely be sooner than later."

Jake Owen's long hair has been part of the singer's identity from the start, so it caught some fans by surprise when he took to Twitter yesterday to reveal that his long locks were gone. Jake tease fans by tweeting the caption ""Ughhhhh ohhhhhhhhh.........." along with a picture of his long, brown hair clippings on the floor. Then later in the afternoon, Owen finally revealed a picture of him sitting in a car rocking his new "high and tight" hairdo.  

Poyen native Justin Moore will be in his home state of Arkansas the week before Christmas when Barnes & Noble hosts a special book signing of, This Is Country: A Backstage Pass to the Academy of Country Music Awards – the ACM's first-ever commemorative book. Justin will be accompanied by another Natural State native -- the book's author Lisa Lee. The book captures moments the from the first informal Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium in 1966 to today's star-studded show on CBS. For the first time ever, the ACM has opened its archive to reveal never-before-seen photos and memorabilia capturing some of the greatest moments in the history of the award show that has spanned a half century.

Eric Church and Miranda Lambert have made Rolling Stone's list of the "50 Best Albums of 2014." Church finds the number 21 spot on the list with his fourth studio album The Outsiders. The publication applauds Eric for "following his rock & roll rebel heart" on this record in an era they say is "teeming with bro-country." The album has produced 4 hit singles, including his current Top 10 hit "Talladega." Coming in at number five on the list is Lambert's fifth studio album Platinum, which Rolling Stone says "balances solo-act introspection with A-list ring grabs." Some of the A-listers that appear on the album with Miranda include Carrie Underwood  and Little Big Town.

Kenny Chesney has added a second date at Target Field in Minneapolis with co-headliner Jason Aldean next summer. The newly added date at the Minnesota Twins' home stadium is set for July 19 and follows the previously announced date on July 18. Tickets for both concerts go on sale this Friday. The two superstars announced earlier this year that Kenny's "The Big Revival Tour" and Jason's "Burn It Down Tour" would merge for a 10-stadium tour across the country. The combined shows will also feature special guests Cole Swindell and Brantley Gilbert.

Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band will hit the beach next year as headliners of the third annual Rock The Ocean's Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The oceanfront festival will come to Fort Lauderdale Park Beach on April 11 and 12. This is a return appearance for Chesney, who also headlined the event's inaugural year, and Zac Brown Band's first time headlining the festival.  The festival will also feature appearances by Jake Owen, Little Big Town, Trace Adkins, David Nail, Sam Hunt, Frankie Ballard, Chase Rice, and more. More than 44,000 fans took the beach at the festival last year. Proceeds from 2014's Tortuga Music Festival ticket sales and donations contributed more than $100,000 toward marine and ocean research and conservation organizations.

Dolly Parton joins Reba, Kenny Chesney, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Sara Evans, LeAnn Rimes, The Doobie Brothers, Zac Brown Band, and others to raise money for their favorite charities this holiday season in a new attraction at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville. The Parade of Trees is a collection of 15 decorated Christmas trees that are on display throughout the resort's nine acres of indoor gardens as part of Gaylord Opryland's A Country Christmas.  Each tree will be sold to the highest online bidder with the funds raised benefiting the not-for-profit organization designated for the tree.

Reba will receive the first-ever NASH Icon Award during the inaugural American Country Countdown Awards on December 15 in Nashville. Kelly Clarkson and Miranda Lambert will be on hand at the ceremony to honor Reba by performing some of her best-known songs live from the award show stage. Longtime friend and radio host Kix Brooks will present Reba with the NASH Icon Award during the live show at Nashville's Music City Center. The NASH Icon Award celebrates an iconic artist who has made a profound and lasting impact on country music, and Kix says Reba definitely fits the bill. The American Country Countdown Awards will be broadcast live from Nashville's Music City Center on December 15 at 8:00 PM ET on FOX.

Buffalo, New York may be preparing for a cold and snowy winter, but Garth Brooks has some news that just might help the city thaw out next spring. For the first time in 17 years, Garth will make a tour stop in Buffalo as part of his "The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood." The concerts will heat things up at the First Niagara Center on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7. Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday. The tour just recently helped Garth break his North American ticket sales record for a single city with more than 203,235 tickets sold from eleven shows in Minneapolis.

Brad Paisley has teamed up with Boot Barn to launch his very own clothing line just in time for the holiday season. The Moonshine Spirit clothing line features both casual and dressier merchandise, including boots, shirts, jeans, T-shirts, ball caps, cowboy hats, bracelets, and even a leather jacket. Moonshine in the Trunk is available at Boot Barn's 165 locations across 25 states. The clothing line is aimed at males aged 18-40, with prices ranging from $20 for a baseball cap to $299 for the leather jacket. Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley debuted at Boot Barn's new downtown Nashville location on iconic Lower Broadway.


 
Carrie Underwood was among the stars that performed during U2's surprise World AIDS Day concert in Times Square last night. The concert also featured performances by Kanye West and U2's Adam Clayton, The Edge, and Larry Mullen Jr., who were joined by Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay's Chris Martin. Springsteen and Martin stepped in for Bono, who is recovering from injuries sustained in a November bike accident.
