Johnny Cash's great-niece, Courtney Cash, was found dead on Wednesday morning in Baxter, Tennessee. According to a TV station in Nashville, Cash's body was found hidden in a chest-like box. Courtney is the granddaughter of Tommy Cash, the brother of the late Johnny Cash. Putnam County authorities say that Courtney's boyfriend, William Austin Johnson, was also injured in the attack and is said to have multiple stab wounds. He was listed in stable condition yesterday at Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Police have identified a suspect in the attacks and he’s been arrested and charged with first degree murder. He is being held without bond and his court date is set for April 21. Cash and Johnson are the parents of a 20-month-old daughter. Police say the investigation is ongoing.

Jennifer Nettles may be all over the road on her "That Girl Tour," but the time she spends away from home isn't time away from family. When Nettles travels on her tour bus, her son, 15-month-old Magnus, is always close by. Jennifer says being out on the road doesn't interfere with Magnus' sleep schedule either. She shares, "Luckily, the road agrees with (Magnus), he has been rolling along just fine." Nettles next date on the "That Girl Tour" is scheduled on March 22 in Denver, Colorado.

Broken Bow Records is set to release an all-star tribute album honoring country music icon Merle Haggard. The album is titled Working Man's Poet: A Tribute To Merle Haggard and will be released on April 1. The tribute record features brand new covers of some of The Hag's biggest hits, recorded by some of Country music's hottest stars. The forthcoming album features performances by Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan , Ben Haggard, Randy Houser, Toby Keith, Dustin Lynch, Joe Nichols, Jake Owen, Parmalee, Thompson Square and more.  In addition to the release of the tribute album, Merle will also be honored with the Crystal Milestone Award at the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards to commemorate his 50 years in country music.

Newcomer Chris Janson and his wife Kelly Lynn are the proud parents of a new baby boy named Jesse Bo! The couple welcomed their second child together on Wednesday, and Chris took to Twitter shortly after to share the news. Janson tweeted, "It's a boy. Jesse Bo has arrived. Safe and healthy. Momma is great too. God works unbelievably amazing blessings." Janson recently released a 5-song EP titled Take It To The Bank. The EP includes a cover of Rodney Crowell's song "I Ain't Livin' Long Like This," which appeared on the singer's 1978 album, and became a number one hit for Waylon Jennings in 1980.
