Newcomer Sam Hunt’s debut single, "Leave the Night On," has made it into the history books becoming the highest debut – at No. 36 – for a new artist in Country Aircheck. The song is the first release from his forthcoming as-yet-untitled album. The song was released on iTunes and sold more than 22,000 digital downloads during its first week.  Sam will hit the road with Kip Moore on "CMT On Tour" September 25 in New York, New York. In the meantime, he’s playing fairs, festivals and on select days opening for Little Big Town and Hunter Hayes.

Not much time passes that Carrie Underwood isn't asked about she and her husband Mike Fisherhaving babies or that a tabloid just comes right out and says she's pregnant, which she isn't. This time is was Access Hollywood that popped the questions to Carrie and Mike. She replied, "I don’t know. I’m working on new album stuff and I feel like we’ll just, we’ll know when it’s that time in our lives."

It's well known that Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean have been buddies for years and now the two both hold the distinction of having reached #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with four straight radio singles that hit the 2 million sales mark. Jason's four songs are "She’s Country," "Big Green Tractor," "Don’t You Wanna Stay (with Kelly Clarkson)" and “Dirt Road Anthem." Luke's four songs to hit the mark are "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye," "Crash My Party," "Drink a Beer" and "Play it Again."

Tim McGraw's music video for his chart climbing single "Meanwhile Back At Mama's" (featuring Faith Hill) debuted yesterday exclusively on Good Morning America at the same time Entertainment Tonight will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video. The personal video features McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, and exposes the juxtaposition of their public and private lives. Highlighted with clips from their show-stopping performance at the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, the video integrates footage of McGraw and Hill in a relaxed setting on their family farm just outside of Nashville. Tim continues his "Sundown Heaven Town 2014" tour this weekend with stops in Chicago, St. Louis and Cincinnati. (Photo credit: )
