Today's More's Mystery

August 20, 2014.........Looking for an occupation........

1.  Working at this occupation, you would be required to wear a uniform.

2.  Originally, the name of this occupation came from the fact that people who worked at it were required to spring into action at a particular sound. That's not so much the case anymore.

3.  The people who work at this profession rely mainly on tips.

Bell Hop

The job's name is derived from the fact that the hotel's front desk clerk rang a bell to summon and employee, who would then "hop" to attention at the desk to receive instructions.
